Most couples who book a session are on a honeymoon, an anniversary trip, or simply making the most of being somewhere beautiful. Some have a specific occasion. Many do not. What they share is wanting photographs that show what it actually felt like to be here together rather than stiff portraits posed in front of a sunset.
As a couples and lifestyle photographer based in Montego Bay, I work across the north coast and travel island-wide for sessions in Negril, Ocho Rios, Port Antonio, and wherever you are staying. I know the light and layout of most of the major resort properties on the island, which means sessions are planned properly and the timing is always right.
A couples or lifestyle session is an hour or two of walking somewhere beautiful, at the right time of day, with someone there to document it honestly. There is no posing and no direction beyond the occasional prompt. You are simply being yourselves, somewhere that matters, and I am there to capture what that looks like.
Everything is planned remotely before you arrive. Not every session needs a partner. Solo lifestyle portraits for individual travellers are also available.

Honeymoon sessions are entirely relaxed. There is no schedule beyond timing around the best light. Montego Bay is the most popular base for couples and lifestyle sessions, with a beautiful stretch of north coast beaches and some of the island's most iconic resort properties. Half Moon Resort, Round Hill Hotel, Tryall Club, and the S Hotel are among the most photogenic settings in Montego Bay. For couples at all inclusive resorts, sessions at Sandals Montego Bay, Secrets St. James, and Iberostar Rose Hall can all be arranged.
Negril is the destination for couples who want dramatic scenery. The cliffs, Seven Mile Beach at low tide, and the quieter coves south of the main strip offer something genuinely different. Sunset sessions at Negril are some of the most extraordinary on the island. Sandals Negril, Couples Negril, and Couples Tower Isle all work well for honeymoon and lifestyle sessions.
Private villa sessions are ideal for couples and individuals who want complete seclusion, with gardens, pool terraces, and ocean views as a backdrop. I am happy to travel to Ocho Rios, Port Antonio, Discovery Bay, or anywhere else on the island.

The best light for couples and lifestyle photography in Jamaica is in the hour before sunset, typically between 5pm and 6:30pm depending on the time of year. The light is warm, golden, and flattering from every angle. Morning sessions starting around 7am work well for quieter beaches and softer early light. Midday is best avoided.

Sessions start at US$500 for the first hour and US$300 for each additional hour. Most couples and individuals invest between US$500 and US$800. No limit on delivered images. In Negril, Seven Mile Beach and the cliffside locations at sunset are extraordinary. I will recommend the right spot based on your accommodation and dates.
How many photos will we receive?
There is no limit on delivered images. A one hour session typically produces 60 to 100 fully edited photographs in full resolution, with rights to print and share however you choose.
What happens if it rains during our session?
Jamaica's weather on the north coast is generally predictable and rain showers are often short. If rain affects the session we reschedule at no extra charge. If rescheduling is not possible due to your travel dates, a full refund is provided.
